a dr 650 is cheaper lighter about 90 lbs ….can still do 115 mph …..a ton of mods….has a wider seat……parts all over the world….very good bdr bike…o yea whenu drop it you wont be crying…..

Still over 100 pounds heavier that the now ancient BMW G650-X models. Yes, more HP and probably a bit better suspension, but why won’t any of the manufacturers produce a 650 class bike light enough to be a true adventure bike?

This Motorcycle will be awesome ! it will ride same or better than Yamaha T7. With tubeless tires, cruise control and the awesome display! it’s gonna be the bike of the year for 2022 !!
I just sold my KTM 790R And I’m looking forward for something different… I think this will fit the bill perfectly!!
Can’t wait for them to arrive in USA …should be first week of March

Not sure how heads and pistons from the WSBK race bike “assuage concerns about reliability” though as with most modern bikes it should be fine minus the usual minor things that show up over time typical of new designs.
Aprilia nailed it though and to me it is a better option than the T7 and even a better deal value wise considering the features.
I already have a KTM Adventure R and a DR650 but still, this Tuareg is calling my name.

Sounds like this bike is going to be great all a round bike. That said, how long has it been since the average weight of a American male was between 165-175 pounds?? Then add luggage, let alone a passenger..
